Hidden Treasures of Titicaca & Amazon - 9 Days/ 8 Nights
Discover the fantastic nature in Bolivia, from the Titicaca Lake to the Amazon. Bolivia offers a variety of different natural wonders. Explore the Huatajata and join the cruise to the Urus Iruitos Islands. Visit the cultural city of Tiwanacu, where temples and ruins can be seen. Cruise the Amazon region to closely experience the jungle.
Day 01 - The City of La Paz and its surroundings can transport you to a mysterious past where any corner, any street, is a hidden treasure where adventure begins a living history which treasures the pre Hispanic times with all their traditions and magic on its streets. the Native, colonial and modern areas, Indian Market, Witch Doctor's Market & breathtaking panoramas are all framed by the majestic "Illimani" mountain. Visit the Moon Valley a clay formation resembling the face of the Moon.
Day 02 - Transfer to Huatajata and proceed to the Urus Iruitos Floating. Hydrofoil cruise to Moon Island, visit the Sun Virgins Temple Iñak Uyu Continue to Sun Island, with soft trek with llamas to Posada del Inca Lodge. Lunch and dinner at the lodge. (BLD)
Day 03 - Visit the Inca Staircase and the Sacred Fountain. Hydrofoil cruise to Huatajata and experience the “Andean Roots Eco Village". Night visit to the Native Observatory. Overnight at Hotel Inca Utama & Spa. (BLD)
Day 04 - Visit Tiwanacu ruins, one of the oldest civilizations in the Americas -The Sun gate, temple of Kalasasaya, pyramid of Akapana are samples of a glorious past. Overnight in La Paz. (B)
Day 05 - Flight to Trinidad airport. Start Chalalan Package & Madidi Park– 4 Days/3 Nights with reception at selected hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. (B)
Day 06 - Boat trip up the Beni and Tuichi rivers to Chalalan. Hike from the river bank to the lodge alongside Chalalan Lake. After lunch relax while canoeing on Chalalan lake. In the afternoon presentation about Madidi National Park and San Jose de Uchupimonas the community owner of Chalalan. Hike along the Chichilo trail and visit the Madidi view point. After dinner enjoy a night hike and see the nocturnal rainforest life: frogss, birds, night animals and insects. (BLD)
Day 07 - After breakfast hike along the Silvador, Anta and Mutun trails and learn about medicinal,fruit and exotic plants. After lunch you have the chance to relax, swim or canoe at the lake. Explore the Wichi and Jaguar trail
and learn about rainforest materials used to make handicrafts. After dinner get the chance to hear traditional night-stories and legends from San Jose de Uchupiamonas. (BLD)
Day 08 - After breakfast, hike to the Tuichi river port and enjoy a boat trip. Arrival in Rurrenaque for departure flight to La Paz.(B)
Day 09 - Transfer from hotel to airport for return flight to U.S. (B)
