Cosmopolitan Santiago - 7 Days/ 5 Nights
Santiago is a very sophisticated city, famous for its gourmet food and the best wines of South America. Driving towards the central coast of the country, cross the most beautiful and fertile valleys of Curacaví and Casablanca to Valparaiso, Chile's principal port and second-largest city. Its convoluted centre has distinctive, sinuous cobbled streets, and is overlooked by precipitous cliffs and hilltop suburbs which are accessed by funicular railways and stairway footpaths. Visit Viña del Mar, one of Chile's most fashionable beach resorts. Enjoy wine tasting at the famous Concha & Toro Vineyard!
Day 01 - Depart from the U.S.
Day 02 - Arrival in Santiago, meeting at the airport and transfer to your selected hotel. Afternoon city tour visits Santa Lucía hill, where the conqueror Pedro De Valdivia founded Santiago, for a panoramic view of the city, while enjoying the hill's vegetation and the architecture of Hidalgo's Castle. Afterwards, visit the beautiful New York Street, the Stock Exchange, the Government Palace, and the main historical buildings such as the National Library, the Court House and the former Congress.
Day 03 - Full day excursion to Vina Del Mar, the main seaside resort. Visit modern buildings, as well as the well-kept parks, gardens and Valparaiso, the most important Port of Chile. Stop at a restaurant for lunch. Then Valparaiso, declared world heritage thanks to the picturesque architecture of its 44 hills, and their characteristic elevators, 15 of them still working. (BL)
Day 04 - Day at leisure to further explore the city and its fabulous surroundings after breakfast.(B)
Day 05 - Optional tours to Lake region or to the desert available. (B)
Day 06 - Half-day Concha & Toro Vineyard, Chile's largest wine producers and winner of many prizes in international fairs. Visit the Casona de Pirque, the family mansion of the Concha y Toro family, and experience the wine production process while walking through the vineyards. (B)
Day 07 - Transfer to airport for return flight to the U.S. or extensions within Chile and South America. (B)

Extension Patagonia - 5 Days/ 4 Nights
Day 01 - Arrival in Punta Arenas and transfer to selected hotel. City tour of the largest town on the Strait of Magellan: Plaza de Armas museums of Instituto de la Patagonia, Museo Salesiano.
Day 02 - Transfer to Puerto Natales and hotel. Overnight. (B)
Day 03 - Tour of Torres Del Paine & Milodon Caves. Visit to Paine National Park, which is surrounded by glaciers, lagoons, waterfalls and the varied flora and fauna. Milodon Cave, where the remains of this prehistoric herbivorous was found and a replica of it can be admired. (BL)
Day 04 - Embark at a local boat and start cruising the Ultima Esperanza Sound. Sea lions, swans and unique fauna can be seen on this stretch before arriving at Balmaceda Mountain and the Serrano Glacier. Hike up to the north slope and in the afternoon return to Puerto Natales. (BL)
Day 05 - Transfer from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas airport for return flight to the U.S. (B)

Extension Easter Island - 5 Days/3 Nights
Day 01 - Arrival at Mataveri airport and transfer to hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.
Day 02 - Full day excursion to the archaeological site of Vaihua. View the crater of the Rano Raraku, the Moais with various monuments in different stages of construction, Anakena beach. (BL)
Day 03 - Visit the Ahu Akivi with its famous 7 moais and the ceremonial place of Tahai. The cave of Ana Te Pahu and Ahu Tepeu. Proceeding to the quarry Puna Pau, where the Moai hats were carved. (B)
Day 04 - At leisure to further explore the island or relax at the beaches. (B)
Day 05 - Transfer to Mataveri airport for flight to Santiago. (B)
