Extension Easter Island - 5 Days/3 Nights
Considered the largest open-air museum, situated in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this island is famous for the gigantic stone statutes commonly known as Moai, the petroglyphs of bird men and monuments that dot the area. A lot of mysteries make this exciting island the last vestige of a unique, sensitive and highly developed civilization.

 

Day 01 - Arrival at Mataveri airport and transfer to hotel. Remainder of day at leisure.
Day 02 - Full day excursion to the archaeological site of Vaihua. View the crater of the Rano Raraku, the Moais with various monuments in different stages of construction, Anakena beach. (BL)
Day 03 - Visit the Ahu Akivi with its famous 7 moais and the ceremonial place of Tahai. The cave of Ana Te Pahu and Ahu Tepeu. Proceeding to the quarry Puna Pau, where the Moai hats were carved. (B)
Day 04 - At leisure to further explore the island or relax at the beaches. (B)
Day 05 - Transfer to Mataveri airport for flight to Santiago. (B)
