Gems of Colombia - 10 Days/ 9 Nights
Discover Colombia as your next holiday resort. Visit the San Andres Island and enjoy the South Bay Beach and the Morgan's Cave. During your city tour in Cartagena admire the city's historical monuments.
Day 01 - Arrival to San Andres Island and transfer to selected hotel. Overnight
Day 02 - Island tour visiting the area of San Luis which is characterized by long and white beaches, as well as by the typical wooden houses of English influence. Continuation to visit the internal part of the island, visit of the old church, the cave of Captain Morgan and Hoyo Soplador (literally blowing hole) a sort of cavity excavated in the rock where the water manages to spurt into the eye.(B)
Day 03 - Day at leisure. Optional tour to Aquarium and Johnny Kay, a white sand and crystal clear water islet,
inhabited by coconut trees and locals who enjoy a melancholic form of Caribbean music. (BL)
Day 04 - San Andres/Cartagena. Flight to Cartagena and transfer to selected hotel for 3 nights. (B)
Day 05 - City tour, visiting main monuments of old city. Remainder of day at leisure. (B)
Day 06 - Day at leisure. Optional tour to Rosario Islands. This national park encloses a group of coral islands surrounded by a crystal clear sea, the habitat of a great variety of marine fauna (B)
Day 07 - Cartagena/Santa Marta. Regular transfer to Santa Marta by land (2 1/2 hrs approximately) Accommodations at selected hotel for 3 nights. (B)
Day 08 - City tour: visit to Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino where Liberator Simon Bolivar died in 1830, the old city and to the beautiful bay surrounded by mountains. (B)
Day 09 - Day at leisure. Optional tour to Tayrona Park, 37.000 acres of stunning sandy white Caribbean beaches and sea and a lush mountain landscape on the foothills of the Sierra Nevada, is home to hundreds of animal and plant species and a bio diversity research center. (B)
Day 10 - At leisure. Transfer to airport for return flight to U.S.
