Galapagos Odyssey - 8 Days/7 Nights
Ecuador's small size belies its rich culture and beautiful scenery. See spectacular snow-capped mountains throughout the sit Indian markets, colonial cities and picturesque villages plus the mid-world monument of the Equator. Rain forests border the sea with several species of birds and the coast allows you to relax on any one of its tropical beaches. The Galapagos Islands is Ecuador's most famous attraction. Observe exotic indigenous flora and fauna at close range. Swim with sea lions and scuba dive in the hammerhead sharks domain; it's all there waiting for your discovery!
Day 01 - Depart from the U.S. Arrival in Quito, Ecuador and transfer to Hotel.
Day 02 - Full day tour Calderon and Cayambe, the well-known Indian market of Otavalo. Cotacachi for great leather bargains and the landscape in Tabacundo. (BL)
Day 03 - Full day tour visiting the colonial, historical sights of Quito and the Equatorial Monument. (B)
Day 04 - Flight to Galapagos Islands. Board M/Y Galapagos Legend -4Days/3Nights cruising these marvelous islands. Visit Darwin Bay and Prince Philip’s Steps (Genovesa Island). A great variety of nesting birds may be seen at “the bird island” such as masked boobies, Galapagos owls, swallow tail gulls and the rare lava gulls. Also sea lions and fur seals. All meals and shore excursions included. (BLD)
Day 05 - Visit Sullivan Bay (James Island) and Bartholomew Island. Discover the blackened coastline where lava has eroded and where you can find many lava pools as well as caves and inlets that are home to an amazing variety of wildlife.(BLD)
Day 06 - Explore Santa Cruz Island: The hub of most activity in the Galapagos, Puerto Ayora is a charming port town where you can find sea, sun, seabirds and sailboats. Visit Charles Darwin Research Station. Return flight to Guayaquil. Overnight at selected hotel. (BL)
Day 07 - City tour: traditional Barrio Las Peñas, the flight of stairs of the Cerro Santa Ana, El Malecón 2000, Parques, Plazas and the important churches.(B)
Day 08 - Day at leisure. Transfer to the airport for return flight to the US. (B)

Extension Cuenca - 4 Days/3 Nights
Day 01 - Fly from Quito to Cuenca. Visit the country’s prettiest colonial city with cobblestone streets, graceful wrought-iron balconies, and flowered plazas captivate you. Visit the Central Bank Museum, which has permanent archaeological, ethnographic, colonial and republican art collections, as well as old photographs of Cuenca. Afterwards visit Conceptas Monastery. The cloister, built between 1682 and 1729, was recently restored. The cloister contains an unusual collection of religious art. Visiting a straw-hat export enterprise is scheduled in the afternoon. Accommodations in Cuenca.
Day 02 - Less than one hour away from Cuenca lies Gualaceo. The town is located on the banks of the Gualaceo River in a subtropical valley. Both Gualaceo and Chordeleg are famous for their handicrafts. Chordeleg is a pre-Inca town with craftsmen of all kinds: Panama hat makers, basket weavers, embroiderers, potters, and jewelers. In Chordeleg there are pre-Inca ruins, including an enormous snake-shaped stone walkway near the town’s entrance. The tour provides fascinating insights into Andean culture,
customs and countryside.(BL)
Day 03 - Departure from Cuenca to El Cajas National Park. Perfect for nature lovers: hiking and birdwatching. There are 152 species of birds in
El Cajas, known for its beautiful landscapes and at least 200 lakes like the famous La Toreadora. Transfer back to Cuenca.(BL)
Day 04 - Day at leisure. Return to Quito or Guayaquil. (B)

La Mirage Garden - 3 Days/ 2 Nights
Day 01 - Day 03 - La Mirage is located in Imbabura Province, just outside of the town of Cotacachi, and near Otavalo, famous for its markets where the local indigenous peoples have sold their hand crafted goods since ancient times. The Roman Spa is fully equipped and offers luxurious treatment facilities, which includes Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and a Purification Treatment performed by a female shaman. Rooms and suites are individually styled and feature a fireplace and the most up-to-date amenities. Enjoy the gardens and grounds where birds and animals abound.
