Gran Sabana Tour - 7 Days/6 Nights
Experience Venezuela's rich nature: waterfalls, creeks or mountains. Visit the Gold and Diamond miners and explore the villages.
Day 01 - Arrival in Caracas. Transfer to selected hotel with daily breakfast.
Day 02 - Flight to Puerto Ordaz. Transfer to Las Claritas lodge for overnight . On the way visit the biggest Gold Mine in El Callao Town. Explore the Gran Sabana, one of the oldest land formations on earth.(B)
Day 03 - You turn westwards and drive on a bumpy stony road to Iboribo, where you take the boat to cross a river. You walk for one hour through typical savanna until the top of the impressive waterfall “Salto Apongwao” (Chinak Meru). Admire the waterfalls from the top of the cliff, walk down to feel the power of water streams standing in the safety place. Return to the village, overnight at Chivaton Camp.(BD)
Day 04 - Tour to Santa Elena, gold and diamond miners, stopping at Kawa Falls and Jaspe Creek for swim and lunch. Transfer to Camp Yakoo for 2 nights accommodations.(BL)
Day 05 - After breakfast visit water falls Agua Fría and Puerta del Cielo, observing the sabana and tepuys (table mountains) and stop at Suruape river. Visit to Villa Pacaraima, small Brazilian border town. Return to Camp Yakoo for overnight. Lunch is included.(BL)
Day 06 - Flight to Ciudad Bolivar, transfer to Puerto Ordaz and flight to Caracas. Transfer to selected hotel.(B)
Day 07 - Transfer to the airport for return flight to the US. (B)
