Panama City & Bocas del Toro - 7 Days/6 Nights
Visit the cosmopolitan city of Panama with a non-stop nightlife. Discover the Embera Indian community and enjoy the boat trip to Boca del Toro and explore the Bastimentos National Park. And don't forget to see the mega-attraction the Panama Canal: Explore the secrets and histories surrounding the building of the Canal.

 

Day 01 - Departure from U.S.. Arrival in Panama City and transfer to hotel.
Day 02 - HD Canal tour: Explore the secrets and histories surrounding the building of the Canal while you experience this architectural masterpiece and have a breathtaking view of the ships transiting through the 8th wonder of the world. Afterwards Panama city tour : Visit the Causeway, which offers spectacular views of the modern city and its skyscrapers. In contrast, the oldest sector of the modern Panama City founded in 1673, has a charming mixture of colonial architecture, cobblestone streets and ethnic diversity. Visit Presidential Palace, the National Theatre, the 17th century Church of the Golden Altar and the Independence Square. (B)
Day 03 - FD tour Embera Indian Community who originally came from the ancient Great Colombia over 300 years ago, and settled down mainly in the Darien Jungle. Experience the world of this Community: the men wear loincloth, their house system is based on (Tambos) elevated-bin houses with palm-leave roofs, they decorate their bodies using a mixture of ashes and plant pigments and are master wood carvers and basket weavers. Admire the famous Taguas, which are small sculptures made from a seed that due to its solid texture has been given the name of vegetal ivory; their handcrafts are real art pieces and they are available for your purchase. Day 04 - Transfer to airport for flight to Bocas del Toro. Arrival and transfer to hotel. (B)
Day 05 - Full day tour by boat to Dolphin Bay, Coral Cay and Zapatilla Cay at the Bastimentos National Park with lunch and a view of the rainforest, great flora and fauna, beaches with several plants, animals and coralline crystal clear water and coral reefs, islets of mangle trees (BL)
Day 06 - Full day tour by boat to Boca del Drago and Canal Soropta, which was once used for banana transportation, there still are occasional fruit movements during the harvest season. Today it has become an eco-tourism delight, flanked by mangroves it serves as refuge to several species including some reproduction grounds for turtles. (BL)
Day 07 - Transfer to airport for return flight to the U.S. (B)
