History & Beaches of El Salvador - 6 Days/ 5 Nights
Discover El Salvador and its history during a city tour, visiting the museum anthropological David j. Guzmàn, Cathedral of San Salvador, the National Theater and National Palace. Explore the archaeological aspects in El Salvador like San Andrès and enjoy the unique beaches of La Libertad, characterized by having a variety of specialized seafood restaurants.
Day 01 - Arrival in San Salvador and transfer to San Salvador hotel. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 02 - City tour visiting the museum anthropological David j. Guzmán, la “Plaza Las Américas” with the monument of the patron of El Salvador ( El Divino) and the statue of Monsignor Romero and the historical center: Cathedral of San Salvador, the National Theater and National Palace. End of the tour is the fabulous panoramic view of the city from the famous Puerta del Diablo (B)
Day 03 - Full day tour of the most important sites of El Salvador: Joya de Cerén, San Andrés and Santa Ana. Joya De Cerén, a pre-Columbian settlement declared world heritage by UNESCO, which was covered by ash thrown from volcano Caldera. "The ruins of San Andrés", ceremonial center, in his time must have had about 200 structures built between the years 600-900 AC and the beautiful city of Santa Ana, where we can admire its Gothic Cathedral, majestic colonial theatre, and its many Government palaces. Day 04 - Transfer to the beach and overnight at selected hotel. (B)
Day 05 - Day at leisure to enjoy the beach. The beaches of La Libertad are characterized by having a variety of specialized seafood restaurants. Visit the el Puerto de La Libertad and watch traditional fishing. (B)
Day 06 - Transfer to airport for return flight to the U.S. (B)
